Are floral perfumes only for women?
No. Rose and jasmine appear in plenty of men's fragrances. What makes a scent read as masculine or feminine is usually the base underneath the flowers, not the flowers themselves, which is why several florals here are tagged unisex.
Which florals are the lightest?
The ones built around lily of the valley and violet stay closest to the skin, while rose and jasmine compositions carry further. For the office, start with the airier ones and keep it to one or two sprays.
Can I wear a floral in the evening?
Yes, and an Extrait de Parfum is where that works best. The same flower smells different over an amber or woody base than over a fresh one, and the Extrait concentration is where that depth lives.
