Quick answer: Our store sells no separate sample vials and no sample or discovery set. The smallest way to try a Mykonos scent is the 15 ml size, which we list on 18 perfumes; the product page shows whether the 15 ml can be ordered at that moment. For every other scent the smallest size is 50 ml, or 100 ml where that is the only size.
If you are looking for a Mykonos perfume sample, the short version is this: there is none to buy from us, but some scents come in a small 15 ml bottle. Is there a Mykonos perfume sample or sample set?
No. We sell no separate sample vials, and there is no Mykonos sample set or discovery set in our store. What Mykonos does make is a 15 ml size of some of its scents. That is the closest thing to a sample in our range.
Which Mykonos perfumes come in 15 ml?
In our store the 15 ml size is listed on these 18 perfumes. The product page shows whether the 15 ml can be ordered at that moment; we make no promise about that here. Twelve are otherwise listed in 100 ml only; for the other six we name the other sizes.
Citrus, fruity and clean
- Mykonos California: mandarin, lemon, lavender and aquatic notes. Also 50 ml and 100 ml.
- Mykonos California Blue: grapefruit, pear, pink salt and marine notes. Also 50 ml and 100 ml.
- Mykonos Penthouse: aldehydes, white tea and a white soap accord. Also 50 ml and 100 ml.
- Mykonos Monaco Royale: pear, melon and cedarwood. Also 50 ml and 100 ml.
- Mykonos Satin Blanc: bergamot, green apple and jasmine tea.
- Mykonos Hawaiian Crush: lychee, red fruits and black tea. Also 50 ml.

- Mykonos Royal Ispahan: raspberry, lychee, violet and rose milk. Also 50 ml and 100 ml.
- Mykonos Sparkling Rosé: damask rose, red berries and plum.
- Mykonos Moroccan Vanilla: rose, vanilla and white musk.
- Mykonos Crimson: poached peach crème, cherry nectar and a caramel crème accord.
- Mykonos Affair: raspberry sorbet, rose, peony and salted caramel.
- Mykonos Tea Poetry: rose, jasmine, smoked black tea and honey.
- Mykonos Sansa: peach, black tea, rose and dark chocolate.

What about Inception, Empire and the other scents?
Many other scents have no 15 ml in our store. Mykonos Inception and Mykonos Empire are listed in 50 ml and 100 ml, so 50 ml is the smallest way to try them. Mykonos Marbella is listed in 100 ml only. The same goes for every scent that is not in the list above: the smallest size is 50 ml, or 100 ml where that is the only size.
How long does a 15 ml perfume last?
By our own rough estimate, a 15 ml bottle holds about 150 sprays, against about 500 in a 50 ml. Most extraits need two to three sprays per wear, as we explain in how many sprays of perfume. That puts a 15 ml at roughly 50 to 75 wears: enough to live with a scent through different days and different weather. These are rough estimates.

How to test a scent with a 15 ml
The steps are the ones from our guide on how to test perfume properly:
- Start on clean, unscented skin. Scented lotion or shower gel changes what you smell.
- One spray per spot, and do not rub. Test no more than two scents on skin at once, one per arm.
- Wait for the drydown. Smell it again after about 30 minutes, when the heart has come through, and after a few hours, when the base is what remains.
- Wear it for a full day. Then do it again on other days and in other weather before you decide on a bigger bottle.
One thing a small size does not change: the fourteen days to change your mind apply to an unopened bottle, whatever its size. Do your reading before the first spray.
When to go straight to 50 ml
- The scent has no 15 ml in our store. Then 50 ml is the sensible first bottle; you can browse the 50 ml collection.
- You already know the style. If the family and the base notes read like perfumes you have worn happily for years, a 50 ml with its roughly 500 sprays is unlikely to go to waste.
- It is meant to be your everyday scent. Worn daily, a 15 ml is finished in about two months.
