The Mykonos handbook shows two different Purple Beauty mists. This one belongs to the Halal Fragrance Collection and is described as sweet and floral. The Purple Beauty in the regular fragrance mist line has a different label and opens with coffee and vanilla over white flowers.

Purple Beauty Halal is a fragrance mist, not an eau de parfum or extrait. Fragrance mists are generally lighter and made to be reapplied during the day. Mykonos gives no official longevity rating for it.

The word Halal in the name comes from the Halal Fragrance Collection in the Mykonos handbook. We have no certification details for this product, so we cannot confirm a halal certification.

Both terms describe how concentrated a fragrance is. Extrait de Parfum contains a higher concentration of perfume oils than Eau de Parfum, which generally gives a richer, denser scent. Eau de Parfum feels a little lighter. How a fragrance wears always depends on your skin and your surroundings.

Spray onto clean, dry skin at the pulse points, such as the wrists, the neck and behind the ears, and let the fragrance settle without rubbing. Store the bottle in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat, with the cap on.

This depends on how often you wear it and how many sprays you use. As a rule of thumb, a 50 ml bottle holds roughly 500 sprays and a 100 ml bottle roughly 1,000. Stored in a cool, dark place, an unopened bottle keeps its character for years.
