Swap Reflection for its Elixir. Reflection Elixir keeps grapefruit, bergamot and ginger, adds rhubarb leaves, then ylang-ylang, peach and magnolia over ambroxan, musk and a chypre accord. Sorrento has magnolia in its opening too, so the two meet in the florals. The result is fruitier and less marine. Reflection Elixir has the stronger sillage rating, so one spray of it underneath and one of Sorrento on top. It is also half of the official Citrus Veil combo.
Our suggestion: a drier version with a thread of tea
Keep Sorrento and swap Reflection for Mykonos Inception, which shares bergamot, ginger, neroli, cedar and musk with Sorrento, and adds lemon, orange, cinnamon, black tea and guaiac wood.
